For the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the proposals submitted to the Prefect 
" Forecasting with young people in order to raise awareness of the Risorgimento and the Unification of 'Italy'
On April 12, 2010, at 10:00 am at the Prefecture, there was a meeting in view of the celebrations planned for 2011 at the 'Anniversary of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy .
The meeting, chaired by the Prefect, Tancredi Bruno Clarafond, attended by over Alderman the Education, Training and Employment of the provincial administration, including representatives of the City the capital, major towns in the province and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, Provincial Educational Office, the Historical Archives of Cremona and the Diocesan Museum of the province, the President of the Dante Alighieri Society, the representative of the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento - home to Cremona, and the local representative of the Cooperative Credit Bank.
The meeting, which comes in the wake of the initiatives undertaken within the Interministerial Committee for the celebrations of 150 years of the Unification of Italy, established at the Presidency Council of Ministers, was a significant time to submit detailed plans when prepared and sent to the Prefecture in order not only to give the maximum disclosure, but also to avoid duplication and overlapping of the same.
In particular, the Administration has informed about the plans to hold a competition at school, in conjunction with the major towns of the territory, dedicated to deepen the characters of the Risorgimento of the province and to create an exhibition in collaboration with the museum system Cremonese.
The Municipality of Cremona, represented by the head of the local museum system, has reiterated that it enabled the collaboration with the Archives State and with the Diocesan to collect and categorize the documentary material (uniforms, weapons, flags, maps, portraits, coins) of historical significance not only locally but also nationally, providing two lines of action: the museum - through ' specific organization of exhibitions - and tied to the college world - for which you are working with young people to provide in order to raise awareness of the Risorgimento and the Unification of Italy.

The President of the Società Dante Alighieri - always sensitive in the field of Italian art and culture - presented the meeting, organized in accordance with the Catholic University of Cremona, reserved for the fifth class of schools above that will be held on May 5, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Chamber of Commerce, on "the idea of \u200b\u200bunity, witness poetry Carducci" with the presence of Prof. Mezzetti, Catholic University of Piacenza.

The representative of the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento - home to Cremona has shown the rich program prepared that provides for, among other initiatives, conferences, exhibitions, educational tours, literary, artistic, theatrical and musical events.
Another project presented at the table was that the new edition of the book dedicated to Sen. John Cadolino published in 1911 and now brought to light by Master Hugh Gregory, who attended the meeting and present members of the Board of Trustees that oversees the organization of those celebrations .
Finally, the Prefect, after having welcomed the interesting initiatives outlined during the meeting and have updated the meeting on 17th May 2010, pointed out that all these projects are available at the Prefecture in a proper section.
