The DPCM 4 November 2010 approves the new" national emergency plan for defense against oil pollution and other harmful substances resulting from accident marine ", annexed to the decree, replacing the previous in the decree of 11 January 1993, intended as a plan for the third time level of the national plan already includes, on the first level, the emergency operational plans prepared by each local chief compartment or by the maritime provinces with regard to pollution of coastal areas, and at the second level, the emergency plan of the Civil Protection Department, coordinated by the Department that under the law n.225/1992.
