Legislative Decree 8 October 2010, No. 191, defines the conditions necessary to achieve interoperability of the national rail system with the corresponding rail system established by Directive 2008/57/EC of European Parliament and Council June 17, 2008, as amended by Commission Directive 2009/131/CE October 16, 2009. These conditions concern the design, construction, commissioning, renovation, renovation, operation and maintenance of this system, well as the qualifications and conditions of health and safety of staff who contribute to its operation and maintenance thereof.
